Ladies 4s vs Ladies 3s

Nikita Eastes29 Mar - 20:03

BSEHC Ladies 4s Finish the Season in Style!

In a thrilling interclub clash, the BSEHC Ladies 4s took on the Ladies 3s in a match that showcased just how far we’ve come this season. The first half saw us battling hard, but the 3s managed to slip a goal past us, leaving us 1-0 down at halftime. However, if this season has shown us anything, it’s that we don’t back down easily.

With renewed energy, we came back in the second half, playing fast, accurate passes and pushing forward as a unit. Then came the game-changing moment—Daisy Sharp delivered a brilliant pass to Emilia Fowlston, setting up a breakthrough play. With nothing but the goalie to beat, Emilia Fowlston stayed calm under pressure, maneuvered around the keeper, and slotted the ball home, leveling the score. It was a moment of sheer determination and teamwork, perfectly summing up our season.

Despite our relentless efforts, the 3s managed to find the net once more, securing a 2-1 victory. But while the scoreline may not have gone our way, this match was about so much more than just the final result. It was about resilience, growth, and proving that we belong in this league.

A massive shoutout to our incredible goalie, Kerry Woods, who was named Player of the Match for her outstanding saves that kept us in the game. Her fearless performance between the posts was nothing short of inspiring!

At the start of the season, our goal was simple: stay in the league. Newly promoted, we knew it wouldn’t be easy, but through sheer determination, teamwork, a few heart-racing moments and screams from the side of the pitch, we did it. We are safe. We belong.

To every single player who has stepped onto the pitch this season—thank you. Thank you for your hard work, your commitment, and your belief in this team. There were tough moments, but we fought through them together, and we should all be incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.

As I sign off my final match report as captain, I do so with immense pride and gratitude. This team is something special, and I cannot wait to see what the Ladies 4s achieve next season. Onwards and upwards!
